Bal-can-can is a Macedonian/Italian joint venture produktion film about a deserter of war who travels thoughout the Balkans as a political immigrant is search of his mother-in-law who is wrapped in a carpet.In the title-roles are:Vlado Jovanoski as "Trendafil Karandilov",

The movie is pre-rekorded is 2005 in different places in a baklcan in countries like:Macedonia,Montenegro,Bosnia and Hercegovinna,Serbia and etc.

This movie is very interesting for me because there are so interesting scenes,although the film give a bad picture about the balcan and the balcans countryes.

Film maker is a known macedonian fiml maker Darko Mitrevski.He have very big success with this film and also a lot of awards from the films festivals.Movie is producted by Alessandro Verdecchi and Giancula Curti, music by Kiril Djajkovski and Dario Marianelli.

Realse date is in 1-st January 2005 and the films running tume is 89 min.

The film was seen by over 500,000 peoples in Macedonia in the first year release making it the most viewed film in Macedonian history. It is also the highest-grossing film to date in the Republic of Macedonia. The movie was mostly praised by critics with some reviewers, such as Dennis Harvey of , commenting on the film; "Writer-helmer Darko Mitrevski keeps pushing the envelope... The cynical, hallucinatory, modern Pilgrim's Progress is a trip, with memorably out-there sequences sure to build a cult rep among adventuresome cineastes.

I think "Balcancan" is the best Macedonian movie in last 5 mabey 10 years,althought the fulm giv to bad picture about the balcans but the for me it's a best macedonian movie that I have seen.
